    Show us your Vise

Thought this could be an interesting topic and since I haven't seen anything like this on here I thought I would start.
Post a pic or two of your vise, regardless of age or use(size doesn't matter)
A little history if you know any of it.
    Here we go...

Inherited from my Uncle along with a 56 Imperial.
    Model 43P Simplex Machinist vise
Made by The Desmond Stephan Mfg Co of Urbana Ohio in the 1940's, I did check the build date once.
I have moved this heavy thing all over and abuse it on a regular basis, doubt I'll ever break it.

Nothing special here, but it seems to get the job done.

Vice = wine, women, guns, cars.

Vise = a large, heavy cast iron clamping device to hold and squash stuff.

Price a good one - you'll drop your teeth. I made a big mistake when we sold Mom & Dad's home in 2004 - a vise almost identical to rodnok's was bolted to the basement huge workbench - I left it there. Dumb mistake.

Wilton is the Cadillac of bench vises with a price tag to match. It's easy to drop a couple of thousand bucks on a larger model like an 800S but it will last for generations.

Depending on the jaw width, that's the exact same vise I have (I also have a couple of smaller, really smaller, vises I also occasionally use).

Clever play on words in your title rodnok01. Good looking vise too!
My vise much newer and has an additional set of jaws for holding pipe. Also a nice flat place to use as an anvil. I've used it for hundreds of jobs including holding my STS struts while I swapped over the springs.

Very nice, I destroyed the last couple vise that swiveled so gave up on them. I like the jaw setup on yours, about the only I don't like about mine. Just not tall enough sometimes.

Yeah, I got some like Sub's, they are out in the garage someplace. Never got them set up after I moved to Midlothian.
