I've been an observer at this site for a while and decided to join yesterday. Cadillacs from 1955-79 are my favorite, although I like all Cadillacs older than '55 and some newer than '79, mainly any 4.5/4.9/LT1/LS/Supercharged Northstar cars. I've owned:

    2 1969 deVille convertibles
    1 1970 Eldorado (currently own)
    1 1970 convertible
    1 1972 Sedan deVille
    1 1975 Sedan deVille
    1 1976 Sedan deVille
1 1978 Coupe seville (currently own)
1 1979 Coupe deVille (currently own)
    2 1979 Sedan deVilles

As you can see, I am attracted to 68-70 Cadillacs as well as 77-79 rwd Cadillacs, especially 1979 deVilles and Fleetwoods. Most of my posts will probably be in the Eldorado and rwd Cadillac sections, but I'll be digging around in all the forums when I have time. I look forward to learning and hopefully contributing info, and most importantly, to meeting new people here.

Glad you joined up. We have a pretty active and vocal group here.
Hope you enjoy you time here.
Reading your car history and preferences you and I should get along great. My favorites before were 74-76. I now have an 87 Brougham I have fallen in love with. I now find myself day-dreaming on CL looking at 50's and 60's.
So, be warned, hanging around all the great vintage Cadillacs on this site can be addicting!

I look forward to seeing pictures of your Cadillacs!

I, too, am a fan of the '70's Cadillacs. Garage and driveway space limits me to the '79 Coupe deVille and a '95 for daily commuting. Someday soon, though, I'll have a pre-77 Cadillac. The bigger, the better.

I also appreciate the fact that you spell deVille correctly (not Deville)

Welcome Aaron. I haven't been to San Diego since bootcamp in the 1973! I was stationed at El Toro for a while. Still plan to visit San Diego some day and tour the USS Midway with my wife. My whole past is a museum!

I'll bet the convertibles were real head-turners down there.
