Post something that you've done that you consider a once in a lifetime type of thing.

Maybe it's someone you met, somewhere you traveled, something rare that not many get to experience etc. Lots of people on here from all walks of life. I'm sure as a group we've done a LOT of incredibly interesting things that don't happen too often in life. Post up a pic too if you have a supporting one. I'll start with one of mine.

This was kind of a "bucket list" thing for me. I made it to the 4 major U.S. sports championship games. In 1997 I got to see my Packers beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI. In 2004 I was at game 4 of the World Series and watched the Red Sox clinch their first championship in 86 years. In 2012 I got to see Lebron win his first NBA championship at game 5 of the Finals and last year, while not a clinching game, I watched the Blackhawks beat the Bruins in game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals.

I went to Chicago with a bunch of strangers. I lived. Pretty sure that only happens once in a lifetime.

The few that have seen action in the military have seen and done things seldom experienced. It's not something you share pictures of.
On the lighter side, touring Bavaria with my new wife was one of my favorite experiences.

To date, my biggest "once in a lifetime" experience is the semi-private tour I got of the GM Heritage Center in January 2014:

No one would believe them, but I have such experiences rather regularly. Never less than once a year.

I survived an airplane crash. I had a sow grizzly bear with two cubs in my camp in the middle of the night. I've had a black bear in the tent with me in the middle of the night. I was in the strongest earthquake recorded in the interior of the US in over 150 years.
