    That is amusing. It's a shitty comparison because it makes it seem as if nothing is valuable in life, like you said. If you are here and only living with the mindset that you will die the same way as everyone else, you are useless. It's like a book: the cover art doesn't matter. It's the content that is critiqued and enjoyed.

    Everybody's answer to this will vary, and it should as everybody is different. The main key is to believe in whatever mindset you have and stick to it. Only you can determine your own happiness.

    Some need to have things to be happy. Others are happy with having the bare basics.

    It's all about your own perspective.
