    New guy on the block

In October I accidentally bought a 2002 Escalade EXT on eBay. I live in Michigan and had to fly to Dallas and drive it home. 83,000 mile and a rust free EXT is sitting in my garage today. It needs a little cosmetic work but I'm pretty happy.

    Welcome to the forums!

What else have you accidentally bought on eBay? And as a sometime seller, how can I best attract people like you?

Michael, CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Cadillac Owners.com. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

    Welcome!!

I guess I can see how you can accidentally buy something on e-Bay but wow that could be an expensive mistake!

Simple....give the buyers a supply of alcohol. I have 2 friends who have dropped several grand a piece on ebay stuff while drunk. Don't think either of them bought a car while drunk though. Must be nice to have that kind of money.

My friends and I are way too responsible for that. We always have a designated bidder when we are drinking.

But this makes me wonder if drunken eBaying was why they created "Buy it Now".

Accidentally buying on eBay requires three accidents:
    1. Entering the bid/buy.
    2. Okaying the bid/buy.
    3. Actually paying for the item.
Beats the H out of me.

I would add logging on and perhaps the PayPal password , so that makes 5 chances
