Is your car 3 years or older? You could use this cheap insurance trick...

So how many of you have seen this ad?

I see it a lot on my AOL.com homepage. It told me that I could pay as little as $19. Now is that $19 for the entire policy, or per month? Funny thing is, this was before it knew the cars that I have.

So I decided to try it out, with a fake name and such.

Well when I got to the end, it of course told me that I had to contact the insurance directly. It might of been because I gave them fake names, for both my g/f and I. Or the fake mailing address, or the fact that I wanted $0.00 decidable as I will have in several more months. On the last page there were on "esurance" and "Progressive".

Since I have Allstate, the esurance is going to give me the same quote.

But I wonder how many of you have seen this ad and played around with it?

    I've found the initial problem.

I've never seen the ad, nor have I ever clicked an ad from any website, especially one that was trying to sell me insurance.

Seemed like a scam to me. I would like to hear if someone actually tried it and it worked.

Re: Is your car 3 years or older? You could use this cheap insurance trick...

Gotta say "Mr. Toby Florek" based out of Hendersonville TN has taken great care of both myself and our entire family. Not sure how he does it, but when I ran my 1998 Z28 convertible into a pole, he managed to write it off for more than I paid for it, overlooked that it was "wreckless driving", and my rates never increased.

I really thank dad for that type of policy/relationship I have with Toby Florek. My dad had Mr Toby's dad for an insurance agent, dating back to the early 80's. My dad always told me that about every two to three years, ie if you paid policies on every six months, you talked to your agent every 4 to 5 payments. In that time the rate would go up a bit, but you talked to that agent and said "hey, I'vebeen talking to so and so at State Farm and they quoted me "this" for the same coverage. At that same time your insurance agent would beat Mr State Farm, or whoever, because you are a good customer with no claims.
