    Wink Greetings from Campbell, CA

    Howdy guys!

I recently inherited a 1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille 472 from my father in law (rest in peace, Dan) and am trying to come up to speed on Caddys. I've been around/worked on older era fords, etc and am excited to be entering the Cadillac realm! The car is all original, and in running/driving condition for the most part. The interior needs to be replaced, and it could use some new belts/hoses but other than that she fired right up after several months of sitting. I do think the A/C Compressor clutch is siezed but I've been told I can bypass it with some shorter belts to the power steering pump in the meantime. I look forward to bringing this old girl back to her glory days! I'm attaching a pic of her as well

    Welcome the forums!

Good to see another person from the Bay Area (I'm in South SJ).

Be warned, some here like to whine about how cold it gets in their zip code.

    Agreed.

The sun was out today and I was thinking it would be a great day for shorts and a t-shirt. Then I went back to work...

    Nice ride. Brings back memories.

Nice part about changing that A/C clutch is it's location.

She is a beauty. She just needs a little TLC and BOOM. So, how long have you been in the Army, and how do you like being a medic? I'm in Advanced EMT school right now.
