    First Post, New Seville

Hello everybody my name is Michael. Just bought a 2002 Seville SLS with 72k on it. The first one I found locally with 2 sets of keys that work and under 100k. Good body, has the rag top which I am less fond of but got over it, strong runner so far. Minor interior issues - heated front seats do not work any longer, passenger window switch does not work but the window still does from the driver side. The passenger side mirror needs to be replaced as well. Since I literally just bought it that is all I have noticed wrong so far. This will be my second Cadillac when I joined back in 09 I had a 98 Eldorado ETC. That did not end well - the typical overheating issues lead me to donate it to the American Lung Association. Hoping for some better luck this time around.

I bought this car to supplement my 97 Firebird Formula which is incapable of moving in a midwest winter. No joke, could not get out of my driveway so I bought a Seville.

I noticed although I used the forum heavily for reference during my last ownership - this is actually my first post. I am so ashamed...Anyway that will likely change especially with the mobile apps forums have now.

Also as a side note, this was the only car out of dozens that the fog lights still worked. What is up with that being such a problem?

I discovered 1 of my fog housings was 1/2 filled with water. No cracks or plastic damage I can see. Poured out water and bulb stills works. I have never used my fogs in 14 yrs. kids always did when they used my car though.

I am another guy who fell in love with Sevilles.

The issue with the fog lights is that most of the owners do not notice if they are out - and it stays like that for many many years - until the car is sold.

    Good pick!

I've been going back and forth between an 03 Deville and a 4th gen F-body vert. It's amusing to plow through heavy midwest snow like a hot knife through butter in a large sedan while some trucks spin their tires.

Jesda totally agree the Seville is amazing in the snow. My formula firebird is absolutely horrendous with a 4.11 gear and drag radials. It was basically a hovercraft. Looking forward to spring though the seville moves but the firebird is just violent

Looks like a body colored grille as well.

There was an appearance package available at some point, not sure when though.
