It's not really that critical that you change the oil when it reaches 0%.
The oil life monitor only estimates the time until the next oil change is due. It doesn't really monitor oil quality.
I've found it to be quite conservative, in fact.
Wait until it is convenient and don't worry if it hits 0 before you change the oil.
Change the oil/filter at your earliest convenience, then reset the OLM to 100%. Not that it makes a hill of beans ...... there's quite a writeup on the OLM way up in the Cadillac Technical Archive.
Might borrow kids propane torpedo heater. I had a kerosene version yrs ago. Melted neighbors plastic grille with it. Oops. Hvac temp says 43f in garage. Cool.
