Fast And Furious started playing on TV ~30 minutes after I heard about this last night...

Ryan Dunn's Porsche also burst into flames not all that long ago in a single vehicle accident.

^ Except for Ryan Dunn was driving drunk at 130+ mph hit a guard rail and trees I have driven that road plenty of times and visited that accident scene.

That is sad it kind of pisses me off that it is more important to video something then hurry up and help some one.

    RIP

Agreed. Walker was the passenger an was only there for a charity event. Wasn't even by his means that he went.

Sorry to hear about this. It seems as though Paul Walker was a real class act. All of his peers in the industry said that he was a really nice person and was very likable. I have to admit, the fact he died in a car accident is a little ironic to say the least.

    That's sad.

From the articles and pictures it sounds like a friend of his was probably showing off in a Porsche Carrara GT and wrapped it around a pole or tree.

Yup, that's exactly what I heard as well. He got cocky and ended up wrapping it around a tree. Terrible way to go.

This is sad. Fast and Furious will never be the same. I liked his work. By all accounts he has a down to earth guy.

    ^I love this guy.

I've been along the same road where Mr. Dunn's accident happened (Native to the state, I have actually been on every single road in the state, public, private or abandoned, in the case of Centralia). Personally, it looks like it would be very difficult to do precisely what he did without doing something REALLY F**KING STUPID.

One may say he was behaving like a Jackass that day.

Sting, I'll buy you a drink in Hell.

Never heard of Paul Walker until yesterday. While it is not his fault and he did not deserve to pass, I will say that the entire synopsis of the Fast and Furious movies was described to me as "A bunch of Hondas with underglow lights pretending to be gangsters and explosions that really couldn't happen." and this seems to be a very accurate description. However...the...I don't know...how many are they up to now? 35? Well, one of them that came out a few years back featured a chase scene with a safe. I only know this, because I was involved with (I'm not a criminal, mind you, that is why I am not saying "Guilty of a crime like") a similar event in Nevada once, or at least similar enough that someone told me how similar it was to the scene in said film (which again, I have no desire to see)

The difference is that Dean was a very good driver, was driving in a safe and sane manner, and some idiot coming toward him cut in front trying to turn off on a side road and he never had a chance. Because he was on his way to a race everybody always assumed he was driving like a fool and was at fault but years later an accident reconstruction expert set the record straight.

It was a morbid joke, I didn't mean it literally. It had more to do with how many celebrities seem to be dieing in a Porsche that is an unrecognizable heap of twisted steel than anything else.
