For me it would be a 1967 427 convertible red/black. I would drive it for a few days and then give it to my dad, because it's his dream car.
The above post is my 2 cents....nothing more.

    Fixed it for you

    ----------

As for the C4 vettes, I have driven a few. The only one that ever impressed me was my friends ZR-1. Car was fast, felt good driving it and seemed pretty tight. All the earlier ones I drove were junk in comparison.
Around the same time I had to deliver a new C5. It was about a 500 mile trip. Car was 10 times what the ZR-1 was although I still think the ZR-1 would have walked away from it in a drag race. Anywhere else though, the lower powered C5 would have driven circles around it. The cars just got more powerful from there and in my books that means better.
I watched a newer ZR-1 pull away from a pair of crotch rockets one night. Very impressive car.

Re: If you had to choose a Vette?

I went on a road trip this summer with a few friends and their Corvettes. One was a 2002 convertible, the other a 1995 coupe. I personally found the C5 much nicer to drive with much tighter steering (razor sharp comes to mind), more power, way better fuel economy, but most importantly, it rode better and had much nicer interior. It was a much more inhabitable car. I do personally think the C4's are better looking and the fact that the LT5 is the only Corvette engine to have the DOHC 32V configuration, as well as being designed with help from Lotus and built by Mercury Marine makes it all the more appealing.

Saw a new vette yesterday. Took a 90 deg right turn thru intersection which has turn lanes. I do see in attentive drivers on non vettes doing same maneuver there. Folks love to blow thru stop signs there.

I was just messing with you.

Wisconsin... I'm guessing you would be more comfortable in a Lamborgini.

^^^ Yeah, that would work! I especially like the 360 degree visibility .... at least you could see those crazy Cheese State drivers as they were coming towards you. And while you are at the Lamborghini dealer pick up one of their air conditioners for those hot Wisconsin summers. Their refrigerators are pretty good too!
