    Faded Crest??

Anyone heard from FC and his fleet of Cadillac's since he's moved to the "North"? He probably had to rent a semi to haul all those up there. Know he started a new job and was super busy...

    Re: Faded Crest??

I talked to him by email in spring, but haven't lately. He was busy and doing fine.

I guess it is time for me to contact him again and see how he is doing. I sure miss his contribution to the site. He was always interesting and fun to chat with.

Thanks for the reminder, I will attempt to rope him in for a visit at least!

Out of sight, out of mind. I hadn't thought about him until you mentioned it. Didn't even know he moved, or where to or that he had a new job.

    Re: Faded Crest??

    I'm back!

Been crazy busy with the job all year. Not much free time these days, but as it is getting colder, I have a little more time for fun.

The job offer last year came up very suddenly and unexpectedly and it has been going well. I have had zero time for any projects working 70 hours a week, so sadly, the '98 Eldorado is as it was before the job. That being said, something like the '66 will be more enjoyable for me give them time I have to play.

I did let a couple cars go... The '93 Deville and the '94 Eldo are gone, but the cheapy '98 Eldo is still running strong... Great spare car! The '03 DHS is solid and I use it to travel for work. I've put about 15k on it since I bought it in March. My wife has been enjoying the '00 Deville since the HG repair.

Also, now that the weather has broken, we have been using the bus conversion more. We try to get away whenever we can... usually a day here and there. The downside with that is cost of ownership and operation. Had to get 2 new tires for it last week for $700.

While your thumbs there, you can't go anyway.
