If Earl and Randy Hickey stepped up to a Cadillac

    My Name Is Earl show.
If the series returned, and he still had the Hundred Grand, and sold the El Camino.........
What kind of a Cadillac would the brothers purchase?
A used, maybe a new Caddy, customized or stock?
Would they step up to a class vehicle now that some money is on the table?

Just something to ponder the next time you watch the morning reruns on TBS.

My first reaction was who are Earl and Randy, then I saw the picture of the stretch limo and realized they must be some Southern spawn. I take these guys are emblematic for an American sub culture known for its' creative auto design!

They're actually a couple of lower class ex-trailer park (living in a motel) guys, one of whom was a petty thief/ general low life who lost a winning lottery ticket after being run over by a car, and decides to make amends in his life to everyone he's wronged. The first 2 or 3 years of the show were pretty dang funny.

    ----------

Also, don't feel too bad about that limo thing. It was a 4100 powered deville stretch, so no big loss (might have actually been saved from getting crushed, either by the junkyard, or billy bobs jacked up chivvy on 44" super swampers.

Loose the mud flaps and it is actually pretty cool!

You could do OK with certain customers on rental too.

The Chevy ElCamino was a star on the My Name Is Earl show for the entire run. It was in the opening shot every week and front and center every time.
The Chevy is gone now, saw it sell at Barrett-Jackson last January.
They need a new prop now if they return.
    Why not a CADILLAC?

Actually, there was more than one el camino. I happened across the website of the site that rented the car(s) to the show (because apparently in hollywood, why buy a $1500 car for a several year run show when you can rent it for $100 a day?). They had 2 or 3 of them.

You don't have to go to the ends of the earth .... like Gillette, to see similar works of automotive art! A short drive to the west (or east or south or north) of Midlothian will bring these beauties within sight of those who care about such automotive folk art!

The perfect ElCamino replacement for the 2 Hickey brothers would be retired Cadillac FLOWER CAR.
