    Favorite Cadillacs on Film?

This blog offers up 25 decent ones, yet neglects a few that I believe are deserving of recognition:

    http://www.complex.com/rides/2012/03...ie-cadillacs#1

    My all-time favorites include:

    1. The late 70s/early 80s Broughams and deVilles in Donnie Brasco
    2. Goodfellas Phaeton
    3. DeNiro's Eldorados in Casino (I also believe there was a '67/'68 Eldo at the start.)
    4. The late 70s Cadillacs in Charles Bronson's Kinjite
    5. Superfly's Eldorado

Honorable Mentions: The late 60s funeral coach in Phantasm is just too creepy, but an interesting Cadillac. There was an early 80s Seville in Dana Carvey's "Opportunity Knocks" that they destroyed by sawing its top off.

(I'm sure this has been kicked around in the lounge before, yet I did not see much similar discussion threads after a cursory search.)

The yellow 1956 Fleetwood in "Driving Miss Daisy." The maroon 1948 Hudson is also awesome.

I always liked the 1958 Cadillac 62 convertible driven by Paul Newman's character in "Hud." The hearse isn't bad either!

    Resevoir Dogs-

    GORGEOUS 91-93 blue C-Body, and a 66-68 CDV I would kill for.

The late 70s Seville in Jackie Brown was very nice.

Did you mean the 1956 "black" Cadillac Fleetwood or the black 1955 Fleetwood? Apparently two different Fleetwoods were used. The long shots were of a 1956 the closer ones of a 1955.

Elvis's limo in Bubba Ho-Tep. I can't find a darn picture of it in the movie.

My favorite is the gorgeous triple-black '69 DeVille convertible from the car chase in What's Up, Doc? Doing a four-wheel drift like a boss.

Sadly, this beautiful Cadillac (as with all the cars in this hilarious chase sequence) goes flying into San Francisco Bay, but with a triumphant blast of its trumpet horn.

Live and Let Die....can't help but love it. The 70s pimpmobiles are in my blood! Some day I would love to build a period correct pimpmobile.

I've only recent watched the older Bond movies. That Deville is so over the top, I almost like it .

Shall I send you a set of fuzzy dice for the Talisman to get you started, Dave?

I know they are an "acquired taste" to most, but to me they were what I saw on the streets and in movies when I was young and a huge influence on my vehicle choice at 19 that led me here today.

Oh, and I bought a pair on vacation last summer. I saw a Kmart and had to go in and buy a pair for old time's sake. It is probably about the 500th pair I have bought from Kmart. (Long story!)

Those car are still around if you know where to look! Here in Richmond there is an eighties Rolls-Royce done up very much like the Fleetwood above. It is the same color and the car's chrome has been gold plated and it has gold simulated wire wheels. The guy who drives looks about as you would expect. Don't know who he is, ...... but I bet he deducts his car as a business expense!
