    Oddball Cadillacs

This forum needs a thread for the obscure, unique, even strange Cadillacs we've seen.

I'll start. I was at a Car Show this afternoon and walked up on the following monster. I was so shocked I didn't even bother to get any info on the car. These pictures are not photoshopped or an optical illusion. The car is narrowed about two feet - right down the middle!

Snake Bit Super Chilled Black Raven 2006 Cadillac XLR-V aka Elwood (Jake's brother)
    Verified 510RWHP and 546TQ so far...final goal 575/550

ELWOOD - "Corvette in a Tuxedo ... with a Jet Pack"

2013 St Louis Region SCCA Solo SSM Class Champion
Texas Mile Record Holder: Street Legal XLR @ 165.6MPH
ECTA LSR Record Holder: 4.2-5.0L Blown Gas Modified Sports Car

I don't think that can qualify as a Cadillac, though it is interesting.

^Not without a Cadi motor, anyway.

I am, however, a fan of something different and it sure is.

Very tasteful, except for the steering wheel which clashes with the dash board. A fine use of Cadillac components, Mr. Harley Earl would be proud ...... fins and lots of chrome!

He has it registered in Missouri as a Cadillac.

Personally, I would have gotten a caddys front end and chopped it up too....kept the grille, bumper, and first few inches of the hood

The only thing Cadillac about that is the rear. Everything else screams Chevy.

^^^ Hmmm, didn't they used to call the Chevrolet the "Cadillac" of blue collar cars?
