I didn't bother, but my wife saw it and said she has seen bigger harvest moons.

Of course, refraction and atmospheric dust (lens effect) can make the moon and sun look larger near rise/set. But the clear sky full moon at about 60 degrees altitude was gorgeous last night. Even the deer didn't need flashlights.
