I have to agree with Vincent. Had my STS lived on and potentially blown another HG I would have most likely gotten it fixed. The ATS's are really great cars though and look so much better with fog lights instead of that cheap plastic cover all the base Cadillac models get.

Ben, are there any junkyards in Hawaii?? Or do people have to pay(I'm sure at great expense) to get their wrecks/heaps hauled off the island and to the mainland?

I know your sadness. My father's STS has a bad HG so when he got tired of it overheating he bought a 2013 Kia Optima SXL. It was my job to get the STS to 200K miles but she started getting worse and worse until I hit 196K and gave up on her. She now sits in the lawn waiting to be taken away by someone.

May you enjoy your new ATS!

There are quite a few junkyards in Hawaii. Based on the condition of the car, you may get something for your car. But if the car is nothing more than a pile of rust, the best you can get is a free tow to junkyard!

Congratulations on the new car Love the blue. The ATS definitely caught my eye. I had wandered into the Cad dealer recently to look for an STS V8, but a zippy little car for getting around town is appealing for most of my driving. Maybe I will go back for a test drive!
