My parents both have 2.0 Ecoboosts now! Mom bought a Fusion Titanium.

My Mom's 08 Focus was getting up there in mileage so last night they took delivery of their 2013 Fusion. As you might Know my Dad bought a 2013 Focus ST3 last fall:

My Mom for once in her life wanted a car that had all the bells and whistles so my Dad picked out this Fusion for her. It is a 2013 Titanium with the 2.0 ecoboost. It is pretty loaded. The only options it doesn't have are the park assist and the lane assist thing. My Mom didn't want them and they were about $1000.

This is the car she got rid of:

    Here's the new Fusion

I am not going to write a Jesda or Chad like review. I will just say this is the nicest Ford I have ever driven. My Dad's ST was a close second, but this car is not only good looking and has nice fit and finish. It is also comfortable for everyday driving. The ST with the recaro's is not. It has more than enough power and dare I say for an accord fighter it was fun to drive. The steering is not as dead as most electric steering cars I have driven. I am 6'3" and I had to move the seat forward because I couldn't reach the peddles when it was all the way back.

The interior was nicely finished and while I didn't like the heater control touch sensitive buttons, you never have to use them as the voice activation actually works. I change the radio, navigation, and climate control all with the push of one steering wheel button. The paddle shifters actually work pretty well and are more instant than most I have driven.

All in all I say it is one of the nicest and best looking mid level car I have ever driven. It made me think about getting a car payment again and trading the buick, then I remembered how much I like money so I passed. Really this is the first time in my life I have been jealous of my parents vehicles.

Fusion is slabsided like a Panamera with a marginally better looking rear end. Ford threw on an Aston Martin front end hoping to lull to sleep everyone into thinking its a gorgeous car, as a whole. It's not.

Sorry, John, I don't mean to p00p on your thread.

But I have an out of control hatred for this car and I can't bridle it. Well, I can. But this is a car forum, so...
