    I am adding more car reviews to the top of this comprehensive post. More reviews are coming....

    UPDATE:

    ================

    2013 Mazda 3 Manual

    Pros: Nothing special to mention.
    Cons: The gearbox was hard to operate; I didn't like it. The manual gearbox in this car is not for fun, rather for saving money! A very normal and typical car.
    price range: $20k and up.

    My thoughts and decision: The Mazda I drove was the base model. It was a very mediocre car, at best! Some consider the 3 series Mazda as an affordable fun car. But to be honest, I couldn't find anything special about this car. It is just one of those 4-door family cars that people buy as an appliance to go from point A to point B, that's it. If I want to buy a simple, affordable car to a friend or a family member who is not enthusiastic about cars, I might consider this car as an option. They had a Mazda speed3 in their lot. But after driving the regular 3, I was so disappointed that even didn't want to try the speed3.

    ===
    The Mazda Speed 3 is a blast to drive, especially with the CAI and Exhaust.

    Re: Looking for a good "toy" car!

    I know I know! But the problem is I live in Hawaii and thee is no space to keep her! So I need to move on and get rid of her! I am not sure I want to sell her to junk yards or not. If I find a good person who can put her in good use, I will sell her for a few hundred dollars, or may even give her away for free....

    Oh by the way, I am note 100% sure, but I think the quality of sound system (Bose) of STS is better than the Bose system in ATS!

    I haven't found a comparable audio system to the Seville's Bose 4.0. The only car that has come close was the XTS4 I was driving this past weekend with top of the line Bose system. For some reason it still lacked that "kick" the Seville's had.

    I believe there will be a formal decommissioning ceremony after which Tommy Lee Jones will hijack it. Sort of a local tradition.

    NOOOOO!!!! Donated cars are junked!!!! Here, all the charities (goodwill, SVDP, american kidney foundation, etc) junk their cars. I always thought they gave them to people until I started reading the windshield tags in the junkyards. Alot of the nicer running cars are donations (including several low mile 80s caddys and a 53k mile 84 lesabre- that yielded some excellent parts for my lesabre).

    It will cost around $1200 to ship to west coast ports. If I were in the mainland, I would be more than happy to sign the title and give the car to a friend that I know will fix the car and will put it in good use. Actually a few days ago I was thinking that Ryannel is looking for a STS. This could be a good car for him to start from. But the problem is I am in Hawaii. Furthermore, my STS has a few other problems too. Needs a new steering wheel position sensor, rear leveling system has developed a small leak, and the paint on roof and trunk shows some sign of oxidation. Back in the mainland, you should be able to find better examples of STS for $1200 with less problems.

    Yes, I think it will be junked. Junkyards are the final destination for any car, unless it is collectable and mine is not. But at least I can say that she is gone for a good cause.

    It doesnt sound better than the CTS Bose either it lacks the Low end oomph that can't be compensated for with the EQ
    Due to less and smaller speakers I guess.

    If Cadillac doesn't piss me off I still might make the jump over to the ATS
    My loaner has about 1500 miles on it now it had 1280 when I picked it up lol
