The STS is soon going under the knife to and getting a much needed "maintenance overhaul". A friend of mine in Boca Raton has a shop that he'll let me use one bay in. It needs a cradle drop and I figured I might as well tackle all the little things I don't want to break with the motor in the car...
I case you couldn't tell, most of it's NAPA...it sure is great when your neighbor is the manager at the local warehouse and gets you parts CHEAP...
Not as bad as I had expected...a little over $3000...covers everything plus some up grades...dual piston calipers, PU bushings, slotted and crossed drilled rotors, new rear shocks (full electronic, not bypass), new timing set, oil pump, control arms, A/C compressor, etc., etc., etc.,
Do you mean at the block halves? That was the intention. At present I have leaks at the front seal, the valve covers, and the oil pan...figured I would take car of everything in one setting while it was out of the car...
Looks like my pile of Cadillac 500 parts did at it's biggest. I should have purchased everything and gotten it all together before using any of it, for a snapshot like this.
You guy that has the shop your friend with the shop in Boca
how is he with N's is he really familiar ?
im looking for a Mechanic that can handle my seville down here so far the only shops i have used here is aamco and tire kingdom
but looking for a mechanic that is good with a N

His shop is EuroTech III...ask for Justin...tell him Chris from Jax sent you...they mostly work on high end cars anyway, BMW, Merc, Aston Martin, Maserati, etc, so I'm sure the Caddy will fit right in...

i would have guessed that was the case if it was a sls model that had the passive suspension
but never knew they sent active suspensions that where sold in singles not pairs in 1 box
Lol, actually the box is for one....I just removed one and put it on top so it could be seen...kinda' like the brake calipers....
Since the picture, I've added two wheel hub assemblies, and a starter...
