went to a V-owners group where they had a high level marketing guy and project engineer from Caddy. picture of the vehicle that didn't quite belong on the lot. and yep, placed my order for a '13 CTS V coupe last week. 10 more weeks and woo-hoo! (for getting the car, not having a payment again)

Not sure if any other local Texans on the forum attended, but had a booth at the ROT event the last couple days. The Gripper chopper won the 1st in pro custom category, even though i built it in my garages, but guess since i used to have a shop, that's where it went.

Re: Axe's 300 Gripper chopper build

Taking off on the chopper tonight for Houston, then a night in New Orleans Wed, off to Jax, FL thur, then Fri and Sat in Daytona Beach for Biketoberfest. Had to make a pair of saddlebags (first attempt at leather work), but it's all shined up and packed and ready to leave after work today. Should be a miserable ride at times, especially the ride back, but ought to be a blast overall and jacked to get in the wind!

if you use twitter, https://twitter.com/axeychrome will have posts/pics from along the way, hopefully none i regret later. . Hopefully as much fun as Easy Rider w/o getting shot in the end.

Cool! A bike-thread!! I am a hardcore biker, full patched MC-member since 2001. I had a lot of bikes through the years, everyone of them customized really hard. I should post some photos, but have to find them on my PC. I ride a custom HD for 4 years now. Congrats for the bikes, they are awesome!! L&R!

Since this thread is about a specific bike, here is a thread for all member bikes. You might want to post there or start your own thread.

Here's a few of the pics AJ (photographer) took in Daytona. Sure pi$$ed the bikini model i had lined up couldn't get her a$$ up in time for the shoot. Guess beauty and brains aren't a package deal for her. Still had a good time, got some good pics, and can get some model shots locally later.
