Not sure if I have participated with my own entry here yet.
I do not take photographs of my cars. Seems redundant to own a photograph of something I can see in person uninhibited.
That being said, this is to this day, my favourite photograph of my Cadillac . I mean, the photos that followed were good too, but I believe the Forum has rules against naked women (Which are in probably about 90% of the overall photographs of my cars and about 75% of the overall photographs involving myself in any way)
All credit for the photograph to my good friend Sabre. Some people wash their cars before car shows. Some people wax them. I do this.
That would sell me on a product.
I do not normally take photographs of cars, but some of you may recall seeing this (I believe it was in the Random Picture thread? I don't know, I've posted it before)
This should be a brochure. Not technically my car (as I've no paperwork to document it), but it is essentially my car. It has been sitting there for my entire lifetime in a fenced-in area we use for (you guessed it) dismantling cars or transporting them to storage (in the adjacent garage unit, which to this day, is holding many of the cars I recall being there when I officially moved from the area over a decade ago). I snapped a photograph of it on my last trip back home JUST FOR YOU GUYS, because I know you're into cars. If I recall correctly, this very day, we proved that the car was sturdier than a modern washer/dryer unit.
God, I wish Buick was still making nice-looking cars. I would buy that.
Both of these snapshots should be on brochures. I don't know what KIND of brochures, really, but they definitely are worthy.
Call Alexandra "pedestrian" again, Luke, and I will beat you with a sway bar. She's a classic in her own right!
This picture was taken when I turned 100K miles on Sept. 7th 2002 with a film camera. It is still the one of my favorites, despite the crappy cars in the background.
Also, I will give 5 points to whichever of you can tell me what is wrong with this picture and why I kind of hate it now.
Is the door not closed all the way?
No, the door is closed all the way. It is bent at the bottom. It is more subtle than that. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
You backed into the parking space and the car hop ignored you for forty-five minutes before the manager called the police?
The Ford in the background has the infamous wheelwell rot?
The power antenna refuses to go down?
Honestly, he says "wrong with the picture" so there is a chance it has nothing to do with any of the cars...
I vote for the power antenna being up. Mine no longer works, but at least it was disconnected so I can shove it down into the fender. I really need to remember where I put my working antenna.
Alright, this isn't as fun as I thought. My Friend Ben is in the Car and Flicking off the camera. Ruined my favorite pic more than that old ford in the background.
