----Is it safe to think that it wasn't a factory turbo car since it doesn't appear to have a factory engine still in it?? I would venture to say the amount of money one put into that engine would go further with the factory turbo engine in terms of speed, reliability and fuel efficiency.
You car correct - it was one of the very rare, limited production de-turbo'd Grand National's. They badged it as "retro edition" and even installed a 2bbl carb in place of the fuel injection system. It could be a Regal/T-type with GN floor mats... but those always stay original so doubtful...
This is Nicholson Pavilion here at CWU. It's a large athletic complex with multiple indoor stadiums. There were only five built of its kind in the world since the early 60s, and three of them have already collapsed. Ellensburg happens to be a very, VERY windy place, too.
They haven't made a Kilted Irishman yet, to the best of my knowledge. I came into work one day and found the office lassies had left me a kilted Lego bagpiper hanging with my truck keys.
Me Mum was Scottish, though, so I am kind of Scottish by association. We're all siblings and I'll stand up for the Scotties any day, so long as they're not allied against my friends, family or myself. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, or as I once said to a German fellow and an Englishman:
"Oi, Pricks! Nobody makes fun of a Scotsman in his kilt...Nobody but me."
In the end, he and his friend stood down and there was nary a spilled drop of booze that day.
Hahaha! The kilted bagpiper is standing on his platform in my living room right now! And I really need to pick up that hearse set. I think those just hit stores up here.
