My favorite WW II airplane is the P-51 Mustang "Cadillac of the Skies!"

You gotta hand it to the Brits, when they get something right .... it is a thing of beauty!

^Yeah, but how often do they actually get something right? 1/100 is not a good track record.

So I have this friend in Seattle...

    Personally, I dig it.

Barbie is not my thing (I prefer "Barberella"), but at least that is preferable to Barbie goes Goth!

Not sure if i can post this but i'm sure it will be fine. The B17 to me is one of the best planes ever built.

^I saw that exact photo someplace recently. God, this is going to bug me.

Orconn, while Barbie isn't really my thing, I think she modified her Hearse rather tastefully (Well, technically, she had most of the work done) and it is actually one of the better Limousine conversions I have ever seen (And I have seen hundreds, if not a thousand)

As for Goths...Don't even get me started on them...

That is so great, what a cool idea!

Love the theme and the execution. She must be a fun gal.

Yeah, Hearse Limousines are always cool. I will definitely build my own some day.

90-95% of my friends are "Fun Gals"

The others are a mix of sociopaths, deviants, revolutionaries and CadillacForums members who don't fall into one of the already mentioned categories.

I couldn't tell you why, but one of these (the four-door model, weirdly) is VERY high on my to-own list. I LOVE these things.

Also, I'm feeling quite nostalgic at the moment.

It is still puzzling to imagine you in that car. Every Cavalier owner I have ever met was a rather massive gentleman, if not larger still.

I never gave those old New Yorkers a second look until about 5 years after they stopped making that model. I was waiting for a friend outside a supper club and a white one was there, since I am like a moth to a flame with white cars I wandered over. It had those seats inside and I fell in love! Still not a fan of the outside, but after looking inside I could see owning one.

    ....now, Cavalier.....?

I love the New Yorkers! Classy in a different kind of way.

And the Cavalier was my first real (read "roadworthy") car. I got it from my grandparents and my late grandfather taught me to drive in it. I drove it for 4 years until it and myself were involved in an accident. Needless to say I have a HUGE soft-spot for the little cars. I was tooling around craigslist the other night and there one was, in white, with the same rims and the same blue Chevy emblems. The only thing missing was the red tape stripe. I actually sent them an email. Because if it has the 2.4L engine, I'd be SORELY tempted to go and look at it. Even more so if it has a blue interior. I miss my little Lier. Good times man, good times.

(Oh, and Chamus, I even had headroom enough inside to wear a hat!)

I feel your pain on the Cavalier, who hasn't fallen for the wrong girl once in their life....the heart wants what the heart wants!
