^^^ I guess that lack of those two factors at a concert would indicate, maybe, they should pay you to attend.

It was actually a fantastic show. He's a great singer, I wasn't expecting such a good performance. Matt Nathanson opened for him, and he put on a great show! A really good guy. I just saw Joan Jett at the same venue last week. She rocked. It was the only time I've seen the entire reserved section at the Britt standing through the entire show.

And this was Matt Nathanson. He seemed like a really nice guy.

I've never been searched at any concert I've gone to... Maybe you just go to ghetto venues.

I've been searched at the House of Blues in Orlando, but that's just their policy, which seems to vary based on whom you are going to see.

Dropkick Murphys? They wave you with a wand (I set those off anyhow, just like at the airport or courthouse)

City and Colour? Nope. Walk right in.

Ironically, the C&C concert had a fight break out.

Then again, last time I saw DKM, I traveled up to Jacksonville to do so with five other people. That concert there WAS a fight and we WERE involved. We were the bigger people and decided to separate from the hostile group (The fight started because some drunk idiot kept screaming WOOOOOOO over the opening bands and a friend of mine asked her to stop). They actually complained to security about US and security told them to **** off to the higher level and leave us be, as we hadn't done anything wrong. Anyhow, fast forward to the main band and two of the girls in the hostile group went out and found my sister. She laid one out on the dancefloor and the hocked a loogie in the other one's face. I suppose around the only man in their group, decided to grab me -by the face- from behind in the crowd. I pulled the intrusive hand from my face and turned to see who it was. As he tried pulling away and raide his other into a fist, I broke the hand I was holding and he retreated.

And that's what I remember about Jacksonville. The other time I went there (Not counting passing through or over) it was on a much lighter note. And there was a wagon.

Still, it was a fun roadtrip and it was one of the only times in history I have ever driven one of my Expeditions (The later of the two, which I've owned for 2.5 years, I've still spent less than an hour total time inside of) and we got to go to Saint Augustine, though we didn't have too much time for sightseeing, I did have the chance to bring the five companions of mine to one of my all-time favourite restaurants (In Florida) and there was toasting, singing and folk music for all.

(Snapshot courtesy of my little sister during said roadtrip. I do not drink beers that are that colour, as carry the Y chromosome)

A bit back, two companions and I literally took a train to Chicago to eat at a different pub, with an incredibly similar name...because good food and folk music is worth three train tickets.
