Leave it to a Wisconsin boy to closely examine a plastic cow! They don't call it the "Cheese State" for nothing!

Going to school with a bunch of farmers, you only made that mistake once!
It reminded me of a funny story about a friend of mine.

They were out west on a family vacation and saw a fiberglass bison, his younger brother wanted to take a picture with it. He thought it would be funny to get down under it to take a drink of milk. he was right, it was a male bison!

    Local Derelicts?

    Late 40's Cadillac

This would be such a cool project car. Odd thing is it has current plates. Hmmmm....

Well, why not? I'd drive that before anything Cadillac has produced in twenty years.

The windshield and side windows are covered with foil. I personally haven't seen it move ever.

    Re: Derelicts In Your Area

Pffft. You don't need to SEE to be able to drive.

As for not moving, IIRC, we have already posted a few cars here that no one ever sees "move" yet they do. (including a violet Hearse on page 2/3 owned by a friend.)

I was once asked if my Cadillac was broken down someplace for "a long time...like a year" because someone I met remembered seeing it in the same place regularly once upon a time. They didn't think that perhaps I worked there.

With the windshield is covered in tin foil, if you do see it moving...run!

In Cuba that would be a daily driver! Hardly a derelict.

That thing actually looks fairly complete, and solid. I bet that'd be a nice one to restore.

I'd leave a note on that one if it were in my town!

Even a slap dash resto and drive it would be fun!

    Re: Derelicts In Your Area

Discovered a private junkyard a few weeks ago near my girlfriend's house. I asked the guy if I could poke around a bit (since I didn't feel like being shot for trespassing) and he said yes. I have a lot of pictures. I'll try and get some uploaded on my next day off. Most of the stuff was completely rotten out, and would be only useful for trim and glass, but some stuff could easily be repaired/restored. The picture above... much more the former. (It was a Blazer at some point!)

My 64 panel got a derelict citation... It was my DD & most reliable car I had just ugly and beat looking.
Had to call the guy and show him it ran, he apologized.
