Dragged my boxes of records off the shelf since I'm staying in tonight. I'm enjoying Whitney Houston's 1985 album.

"You Give Good Love" sounds really nice, even on a badly worn piece of vinyl.

For Sting, a band local to the south part of Florida playing two special requests.

Johnny Jump Up and South Australia.

The audio isn't the best, but they sound good in person or on CD.

    talismandave and talismandave like this.

Lulz. I do more than hang out in every town's Historic district, wrecking the health of the bartender who decides to treat Karen and I to $400 worth of Free Whiskey and stew...Sometimes, we have Irish music.

The day earlier on when I told I tried a friend's Woodchuck Autumn Cider thing in your spirit, it was but a moment before a rendition of Johnny Jump Up that broke out in the bar we were at at the time. My life is harder than it looks, I assure you.

Also apparently, their album "Sex, Drunks and Folk Music" is $17 on their website. I know what Sting's getting for Decemberween!

Matched up a new set of input and output tubes for the amp that feeds the M-L Vista pair from 250 Hz up - played some old Dire Straits vinyl - their first - Dire Straits and a later Japanese pressing of Love Over Gold. Very nice. Installed a Lyra Kleos MC cartridge a couple of months ago and it's breaking in most impressively. I've had these albums for close to 30 years and the Kleos finds music in them I have never heard before.
