    The F**k was that?

Clearly (As if it weren't common knowledge) Irish girls dance better than...well...everyone.

Asia is just kind of...weird. Not as a whole...it just has it's moments.

Then again, so does the entire United States outside my homeland. I swear to god, I saw this moving staircase thingy in an airport in Houston. Freaked me the f**k out. The concept of "Wal*Mart" still kind of gives me the sceeves and heeby-jeebies and they're apparently just about everywhere.

I have however developed a reputation for severely out-dancing a company of Asian girls at whatever the regional hangout is. Time and time again.

However, I definitely wasn't referring to that...whatever it was...
I was referring to American music. Hip-Hop in particular.

Hmmm! Now maybe someone will understand my bitch about spending my late sixties, early seventies, years in Japan instead of London! Somehow the "mini-skirt" just didn't have the same allure on relatively short legged Oriental girls as it did when worn by appropriately leggy Causcasion lasses. Don't get me wrong the lovelly ladies of the orient have their charms, it's just "looking best' in mini-skirt isn't one of them!

A very good friend of mine is from Japan actually. I'd still like to make her and employee someday.

Then again, I have lots of Asian girls as friends (not from spending the sixties there, but from working at WDW with all of the International interns especially Hong Kong)

Another one from HK has come all the way back here on multiple occasions to visit me. I should probably be worried by that one, because she aspires to have Half-Irish children someday.

By the time school is done for the year, this will be all too appropriate. Sick of the SSDD with everything in general down here.

Re: What are you listening to?

Used to play music on the corner of Mulberry and Adams, just around past the courthouse. Scranton, while a small town, was a "Big City" for us from up the mountain. We'd occasionally take the trip out there (And hop a bus to New York City, which my Mum never approved of) and this was [naturally] always a hit, Definitely more than enough to cover our bus fare to wherever we were headed.

While we would usually get there via a mix of walking/biking/hitch-hiking, there were instances we'd get a ride the whole way. As you go down into Scranton, there is this one road sign, as are many when you leave the mountain I lived atop, as accidents were very common.

Every 1/2 to 2 miles, there were runaway truck ramps (possibly an alien invention to some of you) due to the accidents. One accident in particular was so gruesome and so unusual (though hardly the most unusual I've seen and DEFINITELY not the most unusual thing to happen in my humble state) that it inspired a folk song.

I have to get together with some friends one day and we can go back, book ourselves a gig and play this song. Have to hit Michigan on the same tour, for a song we ourselves composed for a friend. One day.

Gotta bring my truck into Scranton someday too. "...Nasty way to go..."

On which day, you will have to stop by. I'll buy you a Guinness.
