We're all car enthusiasts, so the cars in TV shows and movies tend to stand out to us. Sometimes the cars made the show, sometimes the show made the car. Either way, let's see who has a sharp eye and keen memory.
Whoever correctly identifies the show or movie the car is from should post up a new car to be identified.
Yay, I'll join in the fun. They're actually from a film, albeit they are not the most notable cars from the film, but two I have always remembered all the same.
Gary is 100% right. The car chase scenes in Ronin were 100% spectacular. Mainly for the reason they didn't do any insane sort of jumps. The single reason I love that movie is they never reveal what is in that silver case, other than a pair of ice skates.
853-OKG - August 1953 when James Garner was finished with military duty and discharged honorably. OKG - Oaklahoma (his home state) Garner.
1975 Pontiac Firebird Esprit - The Rockford Files. Interesting trivia - the show used the Esprit model, but they were all equipped with Trans-Am 400 Cubic inch V-8s and T/A suspensions - the larger sway bars sometimes visible during filming. Jame Garner was an expert driver and did nearly all the "wheel work" himself much like Paul Newman and Steve McQueen.
The Rockford Files was my all time favorite TV show.
Well, I'm feeling like an idiot for not having a clue on 90% of these cars. So, here's one that more my style. Might throw some of you youngsters for a bit.. Oh who am I kidding, someone will get this in seconds.
The pic is not a still from the show, those were too easy.
This movie came out the summer before I started high school. When I saw it, I thought the '70 Charger was the most badass car ever made, especially compared to all the ricer crap in that movie.
Damn, I can't believe this movie is 10 years old now. My how time flies.

This should be a tough one... There are two famous muscle cars in this movie. If nobody guesses this one, I'll post the other.
Joe Dirt. Very disappointing movie for David Spade.
There's so much to laugh at in that F&F race scene. The most obvious - a 1/4 mile race between 2 "10 second" cars lasts 3 minutes. It was just as corny as most of the oldies posted here. However, it was still entertaining to watch. Gotta love the fake wheelie/burnout.
You are correct! Treat yourself to a bucket of fried chicken.
The producer who made "Stroker Ace" was a dear friend of mine, the director of the movie, Hal Needham, was a client. I am very surprised you saw the movie, because very few did! As my friend Walter Wood would say about the movies' success, "Bomberoonie!" I myself have never been able to sit through more than 15 minutes of it. Who knew the name of the fried chicken guy was "Clyde Torkel" and Bubba Smith was the chauffeur. You, my friend are an authentic Hollywood trivia "aficionado!"
The yellow Lincoln above looks just like this one, which was used in the same movie that featured the bronze '67 Imperial I posted a while ago. Still don't have an answer on that.
