We're all car enthusiasts, so the cars in TV shows and movies tend to stand out to us. Sometimes the cars made the show, sometimes the show made the car. Either way, let's see who has a sharp eye and keen memory.
Whoever correctly identifies the show or movie the car is from should post up a new car to be identified.
One of the characters, Clayton Farlow, always drove a Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, I knew I had to have one of those after torturing myself by watching for that car all the time.

Some cars that I love to watch in the movies, I am not quite sure how to find pictures of them...
~Hud, early 1960's, starring Paul Newman, Orr had a picture of his 1958 Cadillac Series 62 convertible.
~North by Northwest, 1959, starring Cary Grant, there is the coolest 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine that is featured often in the early part of the movie.
~The Parent Trap, early 1960's, once again, for Chad, there is a 1959 or 1960 Lincoln Continental sedan that is extremely cool!
As discussed above, Rockford Files always had interesting cars, one of my favorites was a 1977 Fleetwood Brougham with one of those castle grilles, car was driven by mobsters if I remember correctly.
The show "Emergency" and also "Chips" both had neat 70's and 80's cars in them. I loved to watch both of those shows.

Bobby -- he drove a red '70s/'80s SL until Pam ran into the fuel truck and it was destroyed in the explosion which required her plastic surgery (and exit from the show). He then drove an '80s Maserati convertible something, and then had like the FIRST of the W140 class (I know that's not the right number, but that generation) SLs...'90 I guess?
JR drove an Allante from their introduction all the way to the final season, where he drove a '91 Mark VII LSC...prior to that he drove a silver/green W126 SEL and the late '70s/early '80s S Class prior to that (same color).
Clayton Farlow (mentioned above), after he got rid of his Roller, drove an '88 STS, green/camel w/rear buckets...
The Mercedes SEC had "EWING 2" license plate - - that had to be Miss Ellie's tag.
EWING 1 - Jock
EWING 2 - Miss Ellie (unless you tell me different)
EWING 3 - JR
EWING 4 - Bobby
If your Ewing plate number was higher than that you didn't matter.
It was everyone's favorite alcoholic. Sue Ellen... from hence the "lucky it's not wrecked" quip.
Ewing 2 was originally a Country Squire, then a M-B station wagon (late 70s/early 80s). Then Sue Ellen got her SEC (one of which got stolen when she was out on a bender, as well as her wedding ring).
Miss Ellie didn't have her own car (she couldn't afford one...) until after they declared Jock dead from his plane crash in the Amazon, when she took Ewing 1 and stuck it on her VW Rabbit (no joke) convertible...
As for JR, his Ss were that silver green... ;-p
(EDIT: The fact that this is on Wikipedia is kind of sad...) :
J. R. initially drove a green 1979 280SE Mercedes-Benz with the license plate "EWING 3", later replaced by a 1981 Reseda-green Mercedes-Benz 350SEL until 1983 when his wife Sue Ellen wrecked the car at the end of the Southfork driveway. J. R. replaced it with a Mercedes-Benz W126 380SEL. J. R. also occasionally drove a Cadillac Allanté convertible from 1987–1991.
It won't matter, I will still say your picture tube is out of adjustment.
Watch this youtube video again that I posted earlier, you will see plenty JR's Benzes, they are all silver or gray. And NO, I don't have a black and white TV or computer monitor. Oh, and the round headlight S-Class models shown from the late 70's-80 all appear to be long wheelbase models so that would make them 450SEL's, not a 280SE as your trusted wikiapedia source claims.
OMG! I am amazed that there is anyone who has not see that movie. Yes, it's good, very good. It is a must see, but as mentioned it is long, and don't overlook part II just because you saw part I. It fills in a lot of holes and just gets better (a little hard to follow at the beginning because it regresses to pre part I, where it all began so to speak). I cannot recommend it enough to anyone who has not seen it.
Nice looking Chrysler New Yorker! I always like those cars when they were in good shape. To be honest that could be a picture of Cuba at anytime between 1957 and the present!
My suspicion as to the movie which feature this car, it would have to be "Godfather 2" or "Havana"
I am surprised that so many have not seen the original "Godfather" as it is, at least, one of the best 100 films of all time. The writing, acting and production values of the movie are excellent and the cast is first class.
Yep, Godfather Part II, the scene where Michael gets into Cuba right before the 1959 new year (and Castro's overtaking). I always thought The Godfather Part II was way better than the first. The ending was mindblowing.
I forgot that there was a part III, then I googled it and forgot that there was a part IV. Talk about an ending!!!
