I know the Dino and the DBS, the hotel looks familiar, but as to the film I am at a loss!

Never heard of it but again, film/television really isn't my thing.

Not sure of the year either, but I had to presume post '61, because IIRC, they were mildly remodeled in '61, so since it looks like what I recall a '62 looking like, it has to be after that restyle, but not necessarily after '62.

The Dino and DBS were from a British TV series from the early 70's,

Didn't watch TV in the early seventies, too busy keeping an eye on the Soviets and then building a career and a marriage! Still kept up with what was going on with GT's and exotics though. In my mind the sixties were really the "golden era" for great GT automobiles; Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Aston, not to forget Jaguar were still producing great "Gran Turismo" road cars unfettered by US smog devices, and very usable for long distance touring. With the advent of the "exotics" these cars became just uncomfortable, playthings for the "I got the fastest, best toy" crowd. A ride across the US in a Miura or a Testarosa is really joy only for those masochists with enough money and stamina to withstand the experience. The "exotics" are best kept as collectors items to be admired closeup and for an occasional adrenalin popping short ride!

An excellent guess and an excellent show but, no. I was however in love with her, and John Steed's blower Bentley!

Clue #2: Starred two actors who were big in movies, one who later became Bond.

"The Saint" but he drove an E-type coupe!

My sister wanted to be Emma Peel, but then my sister wanted to be a lot of things she wasn't!

Right actor, wrong show. His co-star had a daughter who became a famous actress herself.

Crime fighters but it was really fast cars, fast women, and fast money lifestyle, and solve a crime on the side. Tony Curtis was a blue collar/new money wise guy, Roger Moore the suave old wealth proper gentleman Brit.

So a friend had me watch this film as the title character reminder her very greatly of myself. Eventually, I finally ended up watching it.

I don't drive that sweet van though.
