If you are thinking that his car is from the movie "Le Mans" with Steve McQueen you are wrong. The GT40's in that movie were light blue with orange stripes. This car is from a different movie from the mid sixties and we often hear the theme song from the sound track.
Just for Mike. This should be easy:
I don't know what the wagon model is w/o a better picture, but it was from "Airport" ;-)
Dean Martin also pulled up for his flight in an awesome Riviera....can't find a pic...
I love "Airport"...
^^^ I don't know what movie it's from, but that Eldorado, on the bottom, sure is displaying what "handling like jello on a plate" looks like!
Joe Patroni drove a Buick Wildcat (this was specified in the book, too):
Although this was by far the coolest vehicle in the movie:
Although Airport took place in Chicago, the movie was filmed at MSP. The sawtooth roof in the main terminal is about the only part that's still recognizable 40 years later.
The blue Eldorado is from The Terminator:
Considering what slow, fat pigs those Eldorados were by that point, it's surprising how many end up in car chases.
Oh well, I thought it was a Riv...it's been a few years since I've seen it. I didn't notice Patroni's Wildcat...
That burnout scene made me want one of those Eldos so bad. I tried to do the same thing in a '78 Toronado, with great success! :cool2:
Mike Hueter had better know this car....
Lots of great cars from this movie....
This one was good too...
"It's 30 minutes away. I'll be there in 10."
Another Impala, should be easy for men of a certain age:
The Seville and the 98 were from "Jackie Brown"......LOVES me some Jackie Brown....
The NSX was Harvey Keitel's in "Pulp Fiction"...
yeah it is sad now to see that car get shot at and have the window blown out
you don't get to see very many movies with the cadillac seville in them i know i have only seen like 3 or so in the last sevral years that have had them in there movies and none of them actualy drive them or have them shown as driving with the peddle to the meddle like that
Glad SOMEBODY finally got Jackie Brown.
This is a pretty well known one, especially this time of year.
^^^ National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Not quite as epic a Wagon Queen Family Truckster.
Another Seville in a car chase:
