    so, in your opinion, whether or not exhaust tips are cheesy depends on how much the car costs? wouldn't it make more logical sense that to have the same look, cheaper cars would save cost by having the comestic only tips, while more expensive cars should spare no thought in constructing a system that both looks and functions well?

    Yes, it would be more logical in that way, the reality is, the IS-F and any super sedan is an every-day car with a monster hiding under it, so what most OEM's do is spruce up the $30K car exterior. While the before mentioned exotics are created to look the part as well as play the part from the start, so it seems more fitting when they're a bit crazy on the form over function themes. it's not a big beef of mine, I could point out worse things on the V. It's just buggs me that they went bold with the stacked quad design but didn't follow through. I realize there are a lot of cars that fake some tips, but these things are more akin to body trim molding than tips.

    Just a way to gain media attention by Nissan. I thought it was very classless of them.
