Was going to order a Remy Reman alternator for A.

Found out the brand new one was a buck cheaper.

    Ordered that one instead.

    Sweet.

SS springs arrived today. Late next week, the car is getting new springs, shocks, new rims mounted, rear sway bar, and exhaust leak fixed.

I pretty much miss driving Cadillacs all day. These army vehicles are like 10-ton bricks on wheels.

I heard that the gas prices went as low as $2.60 at some places, what a nice price to travel...too bad I'm 12000 km away!

My cars stayed in the garage all weekend.
For 3 days I raked leaves, blew leaves and cursed every tree that hasn't dropped them all yet.
Come winter I'm putting my chainsaw into every day service and clearing this stupid yard.
I'm too old to be raking up this crap.

Indirectly you did the same to my car, too! After reading your post, I managed to move my lazy A$ and wash, clay bar, wax, and vacuum the car! It was too dark when I was done, and couldn't take a picture! But she looks amazing!

And by the way, when I was detailing the ATS, I was happy that I have a compact car! Yours is even bigger than my old STS, and I used to literally pass out after detailing it!

This car is easier to detail than my E46 simply because it's a light color combo. That dark blue/black combo showed every last speck of dirt and dust and showed swirl marks like crazy! But when it was clean it was a gorgeous little car.

You two need to get more exercise if detailing your little cars is tiring you out. Now try detailing a "56 Fleetwood by hand, without a buffer, if you want some real exercise and an excuse to be pooped!

Funny you said that, I was actually thinking about Karate kid and his wax on wax off exercise while I was waxing my ATS!

My ATS is blue too, and has the same problem; it shows everything! Any special trick for hand drying or removing wax off the car by cotton towel without leaving any mark? I am not sure what the correct term is, but when you wipe the car with clean towel, sometimes it leaves some prints and marks on the paint.
