    I have used Barr's products many times and have actually been very happy with the results. I don't know that I would use it on my newer cars, but on old car it has been a blessing to get those last cheap miles out of them.

    Filled it with gas and had the A/C recharged. Really hoping it doesn't have a leak like the STS did because that means big $$$.

    Picked up and reattached the chrome strip on the trunk lid lower edge above the license plate -- had it re-chromed, looks great.

    Vacuum, wash, Lexol PH and Conditioner treatment, tire shine, wheel polish. In that order.

    Re: What did you do to your car today?

    I had to drive it to the county fair to watch the Demo derby. Therefore I decided to get comp and collision insurance but on yesterday! My six month premium went from 120 to 218 with the 250 deductible. I didn't want the demo to give her any ideas!

    Yup, there seems to be conflicting opinions about tablets. I've figured that if coolant is changed annually there should not be that much of a clogging risk. However, there must've been a reason why GM wanted them to be used in the 1st place. Being the hassle it is.

    Was the head material that inferior compared to Euroopan ones, no Italian or other manufacturer ever described such maintenance? Or is this the way to keep the lovely little V8 happy from here to eternity whilst all those Italian gems crumble?

    Thanks Luke, I got it handled and on already. Went to Weaver on Mon and ran into an old-timer who set me up!

    Cool! Start a thread and introduce yourself and you car! :welcome5;

    Nothing today because I had to make all my vacation plans/reservations.
    Yesterday and the last three days, new power steering hoses, new fuseable links, new positive battery cable with in-line shut off, and picked some parts for the next few days.

    Had a friend over for shop class....

    Rowed ALL THE WAY through the gears on Briley parkway. Started with a squeeling and axle hopping 3000rpm clutch dump, didn't stop until I hit 130mph. That was some satisfaction, to hold the pedal to the floor for 25+ seconds, look down and you are doing more than double the speed limit. The main thing about this whole experience was the car was utterly smooth and quiet, 130mph didn't feel or sound that much different from 100mph.

    I used to be a lot more active back when I had an Escalade and I was in college. I'm always reading threads, posting occasionally.

    Re: What did you do to your car today?

    I took the Marauder out for a nice 25 mile drive late last night. I don't drive it more than 2-3 times a week, which makes it more enjoyable for me. The way it accelerates in the higher speeds still gets my blood pumping.
