it must have read this...now its not making any rear end noise, save the occasional creak from the read end. no more grinding. It's still going in tomorrow for a checkup (when the safari gets out from work it needs done)

Edit: rear end noise is back. Hope the rear end didn't go out again (but if it is, it's under warranty)

Re: What did you do to your car today?

The stupid headliner in my Cad has been sagging in a few places and I bought it like that so I decided to at least tackle the bad spots today. A container of upholstery tacks handled a good amount of it. Getting the pattern perfectly aligned is a little harder than it looks though. Another container and it should be handled pillow tuft style. Much better than paying the local moron upholsterer $1000 to redo it.

Stopped by the Cadillac dealership to see how my ATS is doing. Also I complained about my loaner car, Ford Fusion, and they offered to change it! The replacement was a ............. Chrysler! I asked do you have any car other than Ford and Chrysler to loan me? The guy said, yes yes, of course we have! We have an Acura TSX too!

I'm so very sorry for your loss, Ryan. I'm glad he passed away peacefully and didn't suffer.
