God damn.. I went to drive the car today and didn't even make it to the end of the street before turning around. How do people not notice these things?!

Chased these Gold Rush Rally guys and gals across Missouri.

This is the Aventador batmobile as he's heading to the checkpoint at the St Louis Ritz Carleton. I should have had the camera on video. The light turned red as we got there and I got just close enough to read the words above his exhaust: "Flame Thrower" As he pulled off, he showed me! That thing spits fire almost a yard!

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Last night, I found out that my Marauder surprisingly isn't that much more powerful (quicker) than my friend's 1973 Cadillac Sedan DeVille.

    There's no replacement for displacement.

Your friend must have dumped the emissions crap/ super restrictive exhaust then.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

As far as I know, it's totally stock. Based upon what we did last night, I'd guesstimate it would run to 60 in the 8-9 second range.

My 73 had emissions crap, but not like a '75, '73 didn't even have cats. My 1980 SDV was much, much faster than the '73's, mostly because you could get the earlier giant sleds to stop smoking a tire and get moving.
