I washed her. The car wash had warm water. That was sooooo nice. Definitely going back to that place in the future.

I also filled up the tank. Plan on a drive through the mountains this Friday
    Looks beautiful.

Last night I went for the standard end of the week cruise. I remember a while back truckinman asked if we liked driving by picture glass windows and drooling over our car. Well, my respone:

Oil change and new fuel filter makes Caddy happy.

Still like yours better! Not saying the V is not sexy but IMO the SDV is what Cadillac is.

Takes me back to flipping the cover on dad's 350 Chevy when I headed out for the night, and often forgetting to flip it back! He took it in for service once because it was sounding loud, only to have the tech tell him to flip the cover the other way! (I heard about that one for quite a while!)

Gorgeous car. Miss mine but I surely don't miss the repair bills. What have you done to yours?

Thanks so much. I love it too and am so happy with the way the spoiler looks - makes this STS stand out among all the rest.

What have I done to the car? You name it.

If I didn't get such an incredible rush every time I look at the car I'd have put it out to pasture a long time ago. And I've only owned it for less that 2 months.

The repair costs are astronomical but it is so beautiful. Sounds crazy but that's me.

Sounds just like how I felt about my 2000 STS

Beautiful cars. Pain in the ass.

Considered what kind of car to buy next. One of those fugly 80's RWD Buicks made the list too. It was a contender for the primary reason that it is (naturally) black, as most such cars tend to be. Leaning more towards another possible purchase though. Being black gave it more points than any of the other features it possessed, regardless of the reasons most people buy these ugly things. Black cars...because they are the responsible, civilized thing to drive.

I agree. I've owned two V's thus far and have been less-than-impressed by either (The third is coming very soon) and you may not say it, but I will. The V is "meh" at best. Hardly says "Cadillac" to me, but I give it brownie points for being American...but still, I adore DeVilles as Sedans or as Coupes...Except for those ones with the engine connected to the wrong wheels.

Those creep me the **** out.

I love the silver. It would be my second choice if I couldn't find a black one.

The icing on the cake for me was to find that someone stole the center cap from the front passenger side and damaged the rim. Looks like they tried the rear one too but either got scared or something but they also damaged that rim.

$95 CAD for the center cap.

Next is the steering wheel shake at speeds above 100 km.
