OK, my neighbor has a diesel F350. He filled it up today and showed me the gas receipt...$318. Yeah. That's right.

I disconnected the auto-dim in the TC. I have 5% tint in it and no high-beam can distract me from behind. Besides, I hate the green hue...

BTW, I didn't just do that. I did that 2 months ago, as soon as I got the '11 tinted...

Yeah, I wanted it more for the lights, but in reality, I would rarely/never use them anyway. Not really worried about it honestly.

Still hunting for a damn RF fender!

...went for a 100 mile drive to finish bedding in the EBC slotted rotors and Redstuff pads. Smooth as silk, dead quiet and powerful. Happy camper. Need another 400 miles until I can try a panic stop from 120.

Road construction is a little behind with the weather we've been having around here; have the day off.

Picked up 2 cases of oil and a case of filters. Changed oil on the Eldo for the first time this year.

Further progressing on a trans replacement on a 1989 Eldo. All sorts of surprises with broken motor mounts, broken/rusted subframe bolts and washers, y-pipe bolts...fun stuff. Absolutely love WI winters, but I admit, this does suck.

    Lunch break for now

Replacing the rear air shocks on my dad's '92 Park Avenue. My god, what a pain in the ass this is. Can't get the top bolt for the life of me. My hands are all chewed up and shit, and no progress has been made at all.

    FML.

really? Milwaukee is usually worse than we are. I am starting to see orange buckets everywhere.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Yeah, there's more than enough construction; you can't drive ANYWHERE around here without being detoured or at reduced speeds. No joke- a lot of my trips within a decent range can actually be done faster on my bicycle. I even bought a new (larger) rack and bag for it because of this. However, little progress has been made with the rain and winds this spring. Everyone's a good 3+ weeks behind for the year already and there's lots of excavation going on that should have been done already. My job depends on the placement of material (concrete, asphalt, aggregate, etc), so work will be slow until everyone catches up.

    Three hours later.

    One shock done.

The other can go **** itself. I can't get the bolt loose. I broke it, I think, because the ratchet spins and what not, but it isn't doing anything of note.

I purchased a factory Bose radio for just 4.99$! Yes!
My radio on the car works perfectly fine, but button paint is peeling off! I hate to see such imperfections on my car and have been looking for a newer radio in perfect condition for perfect price and today I won it on Ebay! The shipping is 15$, but still it is dirt cheap!

The rubber mats had dirt on them so I hosed them off and wiped down the leather in my car. Gonna put some Pledge on the wood trim within the next few minutes and then I will be happy.
