It went to a good home though, some gay guy with a lot of disposable income bought it. He's a Cadillac/LaSalle club member and has like 5 or 6 other Cadddys.

Now I'm looking for a 94-96 Fleetwood Brougham. I had been thinking long and hard about a Lexus LS400, but they just don't have the swagger of a big Cadillac.
Why did you sell your Brougham and why are you looking to buy another one?

Nah, lol. No AIR pump, no massive manifolds. Everything has lots of clearance. It's quite nice. I'll snap a pic tomorrow.

I forgot about that lovely emissions nonsense. Most of the time when your talking about headers, the #1 problem is clearance!

Nope. All that emissions nonsense is gone, so my headers have lots of room. The only issue with them is changing spark plugs on the passenger side of the motor is a PITA.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

fired up the caddy and moved it back to its resting hole. had to move it yesterday because the ground around it became all muddy from me washing the car in the yard (so I move it back 20 ft so the ground can dry). ended up having to take off my shoes and socks to go inside the car to fire it up (since I had just shampooed the carpet), then the battery cable fell off so I had to walk on the car to stand on the bumper to hook the battery back up, then back in in the car, then repeat again.
anyways, car isnt running so hot. its knocking (faintly) at idle and the knocking gets louder when you put it in drive. plus it is burning alot of oil/coolant. I would fix it, but that would cost money. (new head gasket and valve cover gasket plus new oil and coolant= more than the cost of towing it when it comes time to do engine swap.)

I installed them to take stress off that front motor mount. I've already had the dealer replace one, and at $400, it's not something I want to do again. I drive the STS fairly hard on rural roads, so my motor mounts are at risk. These struts made an obvious difference when just doing a little brake torque test.

The engine noise in the cabin increased a bit, but I didn't notice any more vibration.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Broke the heater tee changing the back 4 plugs. Stupid plastic wh*re. Pretty much fell apart. Oh well, beats having it bust out on the road somewhere...

Autozone is within bicycle distance but they dont have one. Heater is bypassed already so this will do for now.

Being a plumber means I have this crap just laying around. Otherwise I'd be in for a serious bike ride to Home Depot...

These cars should have come with platinums from the factory 'cause changing them sucks. Only saw blood once though this time around.

F*** GM's Department of Sharp Objects.

I was bored with my 91. Looking to get a 94-96 with the LT1 v8. They're quieter and have, as Tim Allen would say, "MORE POWER!!"

Holy hell! I just paid 4.14 for the same product. Was that station near a highway?
