    Really.....

The only thing that "pops" on the front of an Eldorado is a "V" grille. Otherwise, body color looks best.

    But then again, I'm biased.

I surprised it doesn't pop off when you activate the horns.

It's a wonder the car stays in one piece period.

That reminds me. Whenever I get done playing around with the little Caddy, I got an air dam and spoiler to put on the above.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Crawled under my truck and figured out my oil leak wasn't really an oil leak. It was leaking gear oil from the output shaft on the transmission, right where the driveshaft connects to the rear of the tranny.

Kind of aggravated that the trans shop didn't fix that when they put a new clutch in there last month, they had to have seen it leaking and it would've been super easy to fix while the tranny was out. Filled the tranny back up with gear oil, I'll deal with it next week sometime.

The conversion begins. I got my joystick installed in the XLR - three green good pressure. Shifts good, mount is solid, spring rate is perfect.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

    Uh oh. lol

So my exhaust leak that I've had has become significantly worse. A nice chunk of my driver's side header gasket is... well.... gone. The car is so loud you can't hold conversation with people in the rear seat. I kinda dig the loudness, but this is ridiculous.

Went to the beach with my parents, sister, and dog. On the way back I was sitting at the front of a light and I hear this engine revving. I roll my window down slightly and notice this Jeep Patriot revving at me. I roll my eyes and ignore it. We take off at normal speeds and nothing happens. Well he makes a conscious effort to line up next to me at the next light too, so I laugh at him and leave the window down. Light turns green and he punches it, so I follow suit - for the lulz of course - and pulled on him by 3 wagon lengths by the time we hit 70-75 (I think the zone was a 55... maybe a 45, but regardless, I figured that was enough). So I slow down and honked at him and waved, so he does a ricer fly-by into the turning lane. We both got caught at the next light and my mom in the front seat starts harassing him with the horn and laughing (soooooo not like her), and the guy is so mad he makes an illegal u-turn and leaves.

    Wagon - 1
    Jeep - lol

Worthy of note: The car had 4 people in it, a 90 pound dog (ask greencadillacmatt about said dog.. he's well aware ), beach gear, and a hatch full of groceries. Probably weighed in over 5500 pounds easily.

^^^ The last "HotRod Lincolns" I remember were the 1952-53 Pan American Road Race cars!
