LOL No, there are a few things I've been wanting to find for quite awhile, and there's a yard like 5 minutes from my house.

Also just bought new header gaskets and header bolts. Need to fix my annoying exhaust leak. That's first, then shocks.

Send me a PM. There are two big yards here that I'll be hitting up in the next couple of weeks.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

I've had a work bench and storage cabinet I've needed to put together for a couple weeks now. Life has been hectic and I haven't had the time do get it done. So instead of trying to get that perfect block of time over the weekend I'm just doing what I can, when I can. So tonight I put the bench frame together and ready for benchtop install.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Got in the car this afternoon and the drivers side a/c was blowing warm air... no good. Took it to my good friend at Jiffy Lube (he isn't a typical worker, he knows cars) and had him recharge it for me and all is well in Cadillac land. I have no idea why it was low; it worked great yesterday and I spent $600 last year to have new lines put in along with a recharge as well. Hopefully this isn't the start of more A/C problems but I'll have to wait it out and see.

Pulled the XLR out of the garage and it was covered in dust. Went to the car wash and cleaned it up. Polished the wheels. Last test fit new engine cover before paint. Looks good, probably need to add rubber edging stuff after painting to insure intake doesn't get scuffed. Finished emblems for engine compartment.

Not really. I didn't have the money to put into the car. Even if I did I'm not sure I wanted to. I seriously think that car is a rolling streak of bad luck. He was thrilled to buy it and I was quite content with seeing it go. Win win. Wonder if he's been rear ended in it yet...

because an SLS isnt a real caddy?

i guess that makes the escalade not a real caddy (gussied up tahoe, or suburban if its an ESV)
