Sting, I really like that horn too. Has a certain French sophistication to it. The V-8 rumble is great too!

    Everything needs more rumble.

It's funny though, the thing I get the most questions on when it comes to my car is the wagon themed stickers. I like that.

Especially that horn! Needs some bottom.

I drained my air tank today. Very little water but it was orange (rust). Then repressurized the lines to 60 psi and tested/tuned each trumpet (my annual tune-up). Checked all the seals and pumped it up to 210PSI. The next blast was deafening. I would record their sound but most mics clip over 130dB.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Gizmo is probably the horniest person I've ever met, lol

Anyways, where did you get that $12 horn Ray? My Toyota is in desperate need of a horn upgrade. Been thinking about going to the boneyard and picking up a Cadillac trumpet horn, but I'm thinking that I'll have to rewire everything and that those Caddy horns my draw too much current and pop the fuse/melt wires.

And I'm suprised to see a dual exhaust on that straight six BMW. Kind of weird IMO, same thing with Honda S2000's and their dual exhaust, what's the point of having the weight of two mufflers and more pipes?

Aron, this is the kit I used:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=250788056620

I ordered it for the same reason as you - lol My factory horns were blown, I had nothing. This was cheaper (and louder) than replacements.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

went back to the parts department because i forgot to pick up the little nods that hold the plastic part of the trunk molding that covers the trunk latch so i had to get those little nobs today
so drove the caddy to the dealer then went threw a non touch-less car wash
    checked the trunk
    no water there today
so it think i got where the leak was coming from when i layed the towels over that area so now i know what caused it and where it is that needs the attention
found out the ring that covers the defrost vent on the drivers door is not being made and discontinued so no more stock of it so that sucks going to have to go threw some junk yards and find something because the tabs broke of of that

It's been dual ever since BMW introduced the turbo 6. I believe it had something to do with moving air w/ the turbos and efficiency.

Other sixes still have single exhaust...

Drove Betty from Portland to Everett, WA, about 30 miles north of Seattle. There's a vacuum leak, bad O2 or MAF sensor throwing a code, and I didn't want risk it. Here to see the first flight of the Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental tomorrow.

Betty's speedometer is about 5 MPH off according to the GPS, so I'll have to make some adjustments to check her gas mileage.

Do you mean Sabrina? Because I'm pretty sure that 64 Impala doesn't have oxygen sensors, MAF, or any such nonsense.

You skinny children. When I get into a car the suspension drops two inches.
