Yep. After backing up on quite a few lawns in my tinted '04, a back up camera became a high priority. Even with both side windows down, it was way too easy to drive off an asphalt driveway...

It's easy in a lit garage or your own driveway. Try strangers' homes at 4AM when a healthy, green lawn doesn't provide much contrast to asphalt. And those driveways are long and often windy only for aesthetics...

Well, yeah, I can imagine that sucking. Fortunately I deal with a straight driveway or rather well lit parking lot for most of my backing up. I can see how you would require a camera.

I always back into my garage. I am terrified of backing out right into a little kid.

Nice, quiet 1 PM country road run and straightaway WOT to 115. All's well. Left the car in the driveway and squeegeed the garage floor. Drying fans on now. 70 degrees and p/sunny. Stared at the boxes of EBC slotted rotors and thought "You need to get hot............"

TP owns the world's only $122,000 SLS, and as he has continually posted, it still seems to be a rolling wreck. This week alone it's been rusty hood, trunk weatherstrip, some sort of front end noise, CV joint, a "lean start" ??? and who knows what else.

Yes, Sub about right with the ciost of TP's Seville. Rare but not unique, my neighbor back in the eighties had a BMW 7 series that he bought new and proceeded to spend the purchase price again in repairs!
