That "professional" photographer may want to work on getting the car in focus and his post processing properly

Re: What did you do to your car today?

    yesterday.

changed plugs wires oil/filter and a coil on the 96 Saturn SW2, also, the heat shield above the exhaust pipe rusted through at one of the mounting points and was bouncing/rattling against the exhaust. horrible racket. i had an extra thick piece of zip tie so i threaded it through a hole in the shield and also through bracket on the car. its much quieter now.

had a flat on the 04 SRX, new tire and new TPM sensor on the way, bought oil for it, havent changed it yet.

changed the oil/filter on the Allante, topped up the washer fluid, replaced a tail light bulb and a window motor and freshened up a window switch. Unfortunately i think the switch or motor was not the problem and i may need window regulator tape or a new regulator soon.

spent a few hours on the Audi with the porter cable. I think my expectations for it were just too high. I can see the polish working now-- as this paint is trashed .I'm just going to have to get a flex or attack the Cadillac with a 4" pad and drill, the scratches left by the automatic car wash are too deep.

Thanks for saying something - I thought the colors looked a little over-tweaked.

Although, still jealous of having someplace like that to drive.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

van went into the body shop for new running boards, a new rim, and alot of fender work. over 2k in work.
got a 2011 decked out escape as a loaner. its a huge POS. interior is all hard ABS. seats are like sitting on a flat rock. ford premium sync sound system sucks majorly. sounds just like the base stereo in my grandmas 04 equinox. either has too much bass (turn it up to max) or its flat sounding, and the mids and highs are just sorta there. drivetrain is adequate, but not stellar. the center console is all but useless for storage.
If you want something a tiny SUV that feels like a cheapo hummer and is loaded with hard plastic everywhere, by all means get an escape. if you want something that is even remotely comfortable get something else.
I wish I could escape this "meh" ford, but unfortunately I'm stuck with it until my van is fixed.

He's only professional because I had to pay 10 Euro for the pic....these dudes around the 'Ring have a racket going.....

Just check out some of the sites....each dude (about 8-10) takes about 1200-1500 pics a day....if they sell 10...they just made 100 Euro for about 2 hours of "work" watching cars going around the 'Ring....

Re: What did you do to your car today?

The wagon is back on the road!

$60 for a rotor and hub and some lug nuts.
$10 for a junkyard steel wheel that was straight as an arrow
    $80 for a new tire

Now I can go to work on Saturday. Yippeee!
