Checked tire pressures and applied Neat's Foot oil to the "nuance leather seating surfaces".

I have always thought that "Neat's Foot Oil" would be pretty heavy duty for car seats, leaving them darker that before. How did your's turn out?

Doesn't change the shale color at all - but don't over do it - working with leather is another case where you don't want to fall in to the trap of "If a little is good, more must be better".

Didn't you ever do the Lamborghini seats with Neat's Foot or saddle soap ? I started using both in the Morris Minor and kept going right through the other 4 British sports cars. Never a problem, even with the red leather in the Jaguar.

Just looked again..........maybe a little darkness in the creases - but it is leather.........

^^^ No always used Connelly Hide Food on all my leather seats until I found out about Bick 4 leather conditioner (which unfortunately seems only to sold in tack shops). Bick 4 is excellent for leather maintenance, but for really heavy duty s]restoration I still Leatherique is still the best. Having been involved in horses for many years you do learn what really works, Neats Foot Oil is an excellent product for leather preservation but always seem to darken leather, so I have always used the car leather specific stuff on car seats.

I have been familiar with the company, and know they make excellent leather care products. Thanks for posting the link; I wasn't aware of all the products that they had available. I just may order some of their products!

Had a set of wheels and track tires for my '04V sitting around. The tires were done but I had a set of Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires sitting around that I used to have on the '04V. So I got them mounted on the aforementioned wheels. And since I used the '09V to do all this, I got to drive my V all around town today. vroom vroom

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Got the bumper mounted PROPERLY on the Cadillac and replaced the Alternator due to the regulator going bad. Though I had a spare regulator, I decided that rather than simply replace it, the obvious thing to do was replace it with a new high output alternator, because my original high output one was killed by Walmart putting the wrong battery in my car years ago.

The flexy metal upper radiator hose seems to have a leak. WTF? The whole reason for this was because it was sitting around and I figured it would NOT leak. Oh well, I have a standard rubber upper radiator hose. I need to switch it, because it has abruptly caused a horrible squeak, as where it is dripping is directly above the alternator pulley.

Are the wheels between the 1st gen CTS-V and 2nd gen interchangable??? I seem to remember the 1st gen V having weird six lug wheels.

And didn't you wreck and total out your 2004 V???

The '09 was my shuttle. The goal was to get the set of wheels on my totaled V so I can get my other set off and refinished. Since those rears were widened, they're worth a pretty penny. Gotta start to move on getting the car, and its parts, sold...
