Seems to work pretty well. From what I've read the only thing you can't do is wash it with pressure. You have to use the hose without any attachments. I mean, you have to apply some pressure to rub it off, but it's reasonably sturdy IMO.

We'll see how it holds up. I also did my mirrors today. I like the look.

Considering doing the whole bottom part of the car (everywhere that is silver) for now, just because I hate the silver so much.

    Yeah. I like that look.

If I had actual wheels with spokes, I would totally do it.

I did all my badges on my car, and my side mirrors. I like the look so far.

I don't have that option. I used to. It's gone now, replaced by the moderate button.

Got the camshaft position sensor changed on the truck and filled it up with gas. Hopefully it's back to running right and getting better gas mileage. I guess we shall see tomorrow.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

went to the junkyard. spent $21.
I got 2 turn signals for the caddy (wanted clear but got orange), a grille bezel with cadillac script stamped in it and 2 infinity 3.5 inch speakers out of a newly arrived 84 sdv.
unfortuantely the bravada that still had the intact console got crushed (along with a few other cars I was going to take parts off of) so I'll have to wait until I can find another first gen bravada so I can get all the wiring I need.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Yanked the plastic bedliner out of my truck yesterday. May it melt in hell. The rust situation wasn't as bad as I feared, only some surface rust on the bed floor and along the back cab wall where the top of the bedliner was rubbing below the rear window. Plastic liners suck, they trap water and dirt under there and rot out your bed. The worst part was all my crap sliding around back there though.

Going to get out the wire wheel and go to town on it. I have some leftover flat black spray paint that matches reasonably well from another project, so this is hopefully a $0 project

Re: What did you do to your car today?

replaced my grille bezel with an early 80's one (cadillac script in it)- $5 at the junkyard. also recessed my grille. I'm going to get some longer screws and washers and bring it forward a little bit at the top. I know I need a new grille (mines dark chrome with a broken slat), but seeing as the j/y charges $20 for a grille I'm gonna wait until I can find a 90-92 vertical bar grille.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

    A little late but whatev.

Drove the V to Charlotte for the SHO Convention. The slicks on TSW wheels performed very well. DTC-70/60 pads are typical Hawk goodness with a little more pedal travel than I'm used to but never the slightest hint of fade. On the way home from Charlotte, a buddy and I hit Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway. My in teh V, him in his C5 Vette. I have video of runs from south to north and the opposite direction. Each following each other. We used his GoPro.
