    That's a Park Avenue, and it's my dad's.

Actually, that was a rug that was outside, but yes - it is orange (and pink, for some reason, but obviously the orange side faces up).

That's identical to the one my grandpa used to have. It was an awesome car. I loved those velour seats.
I know that era of Roadmaster was a problematic car, but he never had a single issue with it.

Not really problematic on the whole. Some may say the LT1 was (I have no experience with those) but Austin's car is the same TBI 350 in the 90-93 Brougham.

The RMS is nice, but the rear looks odd to me. Not really sure why.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

installed my new radio still didnt work (display but no sound). disconnected the rear speaker lines and it (and my old one) worked fine. apparently one of my rear speaker wires is grounding out somewhere (can we say fun?) all my wires are run down the center of the car while there was no interior. gonna try removing the mini amp and see what happens (stereo might not like the left and right speaker negatives hooked into the same spot on the amp)
at least I got another faceplate (for $25) so the new radio wasnt a total waste. my old one was going out after 10 years and a severe accident. gonna put the infinity wofers on the door, blaupunkts on the dash (astweets with a x-over) and the alpines in the back. I'm also gonna see it that old ass radioshack equalizer works and if so I'm gonna hook it up. realistic amp/ graphic equalizer FTW)

Recieved my stud kit from Northstar Performance today, should have began the process of removing the engine awhile ago, but the weather kept impeding me. I suppose tomorrow I'll start draining fluids and getting underway.

Still the stupid water pump. The one I got, I'm pretty sure, is defective. It backed out one of the studs that holds the fan to it and now it makes this god-awful obnoxious ass noise.

I will be back to Advance in the morning with receipt + invoice in hand. It's bull.

Re: What did you do to your car today?

I found a set of opera lights for our '79 CDV for $22 on eBay and they arrived Monday. Anyone care to guess how long it took before they were out of the package and on the car? Your options:

    A) Under 10 minutes
    B) Under 20 minutes
    C) Under 30 minutes
    D) Longer than 30 minutes? Are ye daft?
