tortillas de harina have their place in many dishes.

One of my favorite things to wake up to as a kid was the smell of flour tortillas being made alongside chorizo & eggs or potatoes and eggs. No store bought flour tortillas can compare to moms or grandmas home made flour tortillas. Corn can come close. corn can be bearably close, but store bought flour tortillas can never hold a candle to home made.

Me and my brother were just reminiscing about caldo de rez the other day. at least thats what we remember it being called. It involved your choice of chicken or ox tail in a soup with potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and sometimes corn or rice. it tasted great with corn tortillas to dip into it

Most of the other food posts here are greasy burgers, hot dogs, and seafood that looks like it got microwaved into oblivion, which were obtained across the street from the hotel while traveling (trucker's fine dining ) . However, this is awesome. Looks fantastic.

This thread should be renamed: "What did you eat today?"

Food is much more interesting than cars anyway.

Seems the Northstar engines aren't the only things around here that consume oil...

    Those enchiladas look AMAZING.

Got my intake manifold gasket replaced. Couldn't get timing set right, so I gave up for tonight. Too dark. Will finish tomorrow.

P.S. - IT RAINED AGAIN TODAY!
