The 2011 Jaguar XJ; This is not your father's Jaguar!
I like it. It's not stunningly gorgeous, like the XJ's were 10 years ago, but it sticks out and looks like nothing else. It certainly doesn't look like anything Jaguar's ever made.

Classy interior but that front end makes me think of Hyundai. The back might be an Acura. Where are the telltale Jag features?

It looks Gallic, a lot like the new Citroen C6, especially in the rear 3/4 angle and in profile.

Chad, I wouldn't say it looks like nothing else.
I walked up to the new Jag at Walmart the other day.
From the front, I thought I was walking up to a new Buick Lucerne.
I was surprised to see it was actually a Jaguar ... that would've been my last guess.
At least the old VandenPlas or S type always looked like a Jag ... the new car doesn't carry any heritage
in the design elements.

the int is amazing! nice job but the front end doesnt look to hot. due to its head lights . the rear end is NICE. i alwayse have been more a ass man then a boob man.

The front and rear don't look at all alike, that I don't like. It's like they had two teams designing it and they didn't talk to each other during the process.

It doesn't look like a Jaguar. The interior reeks of "Buzz Lightyear got his pension." The front end is reminiscent of an old Volvo front end from years back .... not the original XJ6 (of which I owned one). The side has no distinguishing features to distinguish it from other run of the mill designs currently in the marketplace. The rear looks like the design team gave up and just decided to end it. Sir William Lyons would just sjhake his head and fire the whole lot of the design team. If I were in the market to spend a bundle on a luxury sedan it wouldn't be a Jaguar .... I'd look around for a leftover or low mileage XJ from the just replaced series.
Now the Citroen I like! Far more original and it probably does some neat things too. Too bad they are no longer marketed in the U.S. But I' really waiting for the return of Alfa Romeo to the U.S.

It kinda looks like they took a XF (which is gorgeous BTW) and had Robocop redesign it.

The interior is stunning IMO.
The exterior is concept car'ish and at best it will have to grow on me.
The Gary Busey pic scared me.
